B.Kin, M.OMSc

Osteopath Manual Practitioner

Professional Background

Katie Manley has been interested in natural approaches to health since she was young. Her own experience with sports injuries inspired her to study kinesiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she learned how the body moves and responds to care. After completing her degree, she knew she wanted to work more directly with patients through hands on treatment.

When she discovered Osteopathy, everything aligned with her passion for meaningful patient support. The philosophy, the gentle manual work, and the focus on treating the whole person confirmed that this was the right path. Katie graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2023 and values that every patient is unique, which is central to the Osteopathic approach.

Osteopathy uses gentle manual techniques that consider all systems of the body and support its natural ability to maintain balance and function. Katie’s goal is to help patients improve mobility and overall health by drawing on her strong foundation in anatomy and physiology.
