Registered Massage Therapist

Professional Background

John is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with over eight years of clinical experience, having graduated from Georgian College's Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy Program (2018). His passion for sport initially led him into this field, and it continues to shape his approach to treatment, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

As a current and former athlete, John was a four-time Halton Region Champion in the 400-800m (2012-2013) and a member of the Oakville Rangers Minor Midget AA team that captured the OMHA title in 2012. John has also competed for Team Canada as an age-group triathlete in the sprint distance (2021). During his studies, he also competed on the Varsity Cross Country team for Brock University (2014) and Georgian College (2018). These experiences have given John a deep, firsthand understanding of the physical demands placed on the body and the importance of proper recovery and care.

John brings energy and passion into his practice, working with athletes, active individuals, and those seeking to improve their overall well-being. He is certified as a Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST) and has pursued extensive continuing education in advanced joint mobilizations, sport massage, k-taping, and cupping. His approach is client-centred, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the individual's needs and goals.

In addition to his clinical work, he has continued to expand his academic background. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure studies (2024) as well as a Bachelor of Education (2026) and is an Ontario Certified teacher. He is currently completing a Master's of Health and Physical Education at Brock University. This ongoing education allows him to better support his clients not only in recovery, but in building sustainable, healthy, and active lifestyles.
