Alyssa graduated from McMaster University where she earned a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology. She then obtained Massage Therapy and Sports Injury Therapy diplomas from the Canadian Therapeutic College and began working as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2010. Since then, Alyssa has added Contemporary Medical Acupuncture to her skill set and began studying osteopathy. She is currently completing her fifth year at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and plans to investigate pregnancy-related lumbopelvic pain and disability for her thesis.
In her practice, Alyssa has gained valuable experience working with a diverse population including those with acute musculoskeletal injuries, chronic dysfunction, children, pregnant women and competitive athletes. Having always participated in sports herself, Alyssa has also enjoyed working as a team therapist for a variety of sports teams.
Alyssa is fascinated by the intricacy of the human body and is passionate about sharing her knowledge to help others achieve their optimal health and wellness.
