Additionally, she is a Dialectical Behavioural Therapist (DBT) for those living with mental health and are seeking out learning skills to make behaviour changes in their lives through emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
Kristen believes in a client focused delivery of therapy where the client is in control; they are the experts in their own lives. Everyone deserves to have a person who is empathetic, non-judgmental, and understanding of where they are in their lives. This therapeutic setting allows people to work at their pace through a strength-based approach to reach their goals and feel a higher satisfaction within themselves and their lives. Services are covered under most extended benefit plans for anyone who has coverage for psychotherapy or social work.
